The service
HugeTimer offers free timers, stopwatches, clocks, alarms and screen lights that run in your web browser. There are no accounts and no paid plans. Tools, pages and features may change, move or be removed at any time, and the site may be unavailable for maintenance or because of problems outside our control.
Know the limits of a browser tool
Every tool keeps time with your device’s clock and depends on your browser and operating system. A web page can’t ring when the browser is closed, when the computer is asleep or when the device has no power. Phones may silence or pause pages in the background. Sound needs a click on the page before it can play, and the volume depends on your device. Please read the “Tips and limits” section of each tool and the page How our timers stay accurate.
Don’t use HugeTimer where a missed or late signal could cause injury, illness or damage: for example medication schedules, safety checks, machinery, driving or anything you would otherwise need a certified device for. HugeTimer is not a medical, safety or professional timing instrument, and nothing on the site is medical, legal or financial advice.
Screens and flashing light
Some pages fill the screen with bright colors or moving light. The disco light shows a warning first and limits flashes to three per second, but people who are sensitive to flashing light should not use it. Stop using any page that makes you feel unwell.
Acceptable use
Use the site for lawful purposes only. Don’t try to disrupt it, overload it, scrape it in bulk, or use it to mislead others, for example by passing off its pages as your own service. Embedding the date countdown with its official embed code is welcome.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, HugeTimer is not liable for any loss or damage that results from using or being unable to use the site, including missed alarms or inaccurate times.
Content and trademarks
The text, design, code and graphics of HugeTimer belong to its operator. Names of other products or methods are used only to describe what a tool does, and HugeTimer is not affiliated with their owners.
