How to use the pink screen
- Tap one of the eight pinks, from Pink to Magenta.
- Want it paler? Choose a chip under Softer shades.
- Switch on Soft glow for a gentler edge.
- Set Brightness, then turn your device brightness up for more light.
- Press Fullscreen or F. Esc or ✕ brings the controls back.
Pink light for selfies and video calls
Put the pink on a second device, because a phone can’t show its own camera and a light at the same time. Hold the light at eye level, a little off to one side and about an arm’s length away. Pale pinks such as Pink, Light pink or the 30–60 % softer shades give the most light and a gentle tint; Hot pink and Magenta paint a strong color on skin. For calls, stand a laptop or tablet next to your webcam. Want to see the result while you adjust it? The online mirror shows your camera with its own light ring.
Room mood and photo backdrops
A TV or a monitor in fullscreen makes a pink glow for a party corner, a dressing table or a desk, and the page asks the screen to stay on. For product and flat-lay photos, lay a tablet behind a small object and lower the room lights. Need a wallpaper instead? Download PNG saves the color in five sizes. On a second screen, an aesthetic clock or a Pomodoro-style timer keeps the same calm look.
A pink screen without a 10-hour video
This page runs for as long as you like, in any shade, with no ads in fullscreen and nothing downloading once it has loaded.
Eight pinks, from pastel to magenta
Pink #FFC0CB is the web’s standard “pink” (CSS named colors, MDN) and gives a soft, bright light. Light pink #FFB6C1 is a touch warmer and Pastel pink #FBCFE8 the palest, with a hint of lilac. Blush #DE5D83 is dusky and muted. Looking for a bright pink screen? Take Hot pink #FF69B4. Deep pink #FF1493 gives a strong cast, Rose #F43F5E leans red and Magenta #FF00FF leans purple. For a dark pink, try Deep pink or Blush.
Softer shades
The seven chips mix your pink with white in 10 % steps, from 0 to 60 %. The row is built from the last pink you chose, so clicking a chip changes the light without moving the row. It stops at 60 % so every chip still looks pink.
Soft glow explained
With Soft glow on, the center 55 % of the screen keeps the full color and the edges fall to 85 % of it. The light reads less like a flat panel and more like a lamp. It is drawn on screen only, so a downloaded PNG stays flat.
Options explained
Hex and the color picker take any color; Copy hex copies the code. Brightness runs from 5 to 100 % in steps of 5. Download PNG has five sizes, and Apply brightness to the image bakes your dimming into the file. Share creates a link to your pink, and Settings holds tracking markers, Keep screen on and Clear my data.
How it works
The color is a CSS background drawn by your browser, so it shows before any script loads. Brightness multiplies each channel: #FFC0CB at 50 % is #806066. Softer shades blend the channels with white, and the glow is a CSS radial gradient. Nothing is uploaded. Pink isn’t for keying out a background; for that, use the green screen.
Tips and limits
- Pink isn’t a color temperature, since kelvin describes white light. For a warm white, use the screen light at 2700–3000 K.
- Dimming with the slider turns pink towards mauve. For a dim pink glow, lower your device brightness instead.
- Bright pastels light most of an OLED screen’s pixels, so they use more battery than deep pinks.
- A flat color wears pixels evenly; leaving static markers or text on screen for hours is what can mark a panel.
- This page makes light and color only. It makes no promises about mood, rest or wellbeing.
FAQ
How do I make my screen pink?
Open this page, pick a pink and press Fullscreen; the whole display turns pink until you press Esc. To tint every app on an iPhone instead, go to Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size → Color Filters and choose Color Tint. Android phones name this setting differently from maker to maker.
Which pink gives the softest light on faces?
The pale ones. Pink, Light pink, Pastel pink and the 30–60 % chips under Softer shades give the most light with a gentle tint. Hot pink, Deep pink and Magenta put a strong color cast on skin, which suits a styled shot more than a natural one.
Can I use a pink screen as a selfie light on my phone?
Not while that same phone's camera app is open, because the camera covers the page. Use a second device as the light: a tablet, a laptop or another phone held at eye level. If you only have one device, the online mirror on this site draws a light ring around your camera view.
What does soft glow do?
Soft glow keeps the middle of the screen at full color and lets the edges fall to 85 %, so #FFC0CB fades to #D9A3AD at the border. The light looks less like a flat panel and more like a lamp. It changes the screen only; downloaded PNGs stay flat.
Can I pick my own pink with a hex code?
Yes. Type #RGB or #RRGGBB into Hex, with or without the hash sign, or use the color picker next to it. The Softer shades row then shows tints of your own color, so you can make any pink paler in 10 % steps.
Why is my screen pink on its own?
That's your display, not this page. Common causes are a loose or damaged video cable, a graphics driver problem, a color filter or color profile setting, or a failing panel. Reseat the cable, restart, check the display settings and try another screen; if the tint stays, contact the device maker.
Will the screen stay on?
In fullscreen, yes, in browsers that support Screen Wake Lock: Chrome and Edge 84+, Firefox 126+ and Safari 16.4+ on Mac, iPhone and iPad. Opened from a Home Screen icon, iPhones keep the screen on from iOS 18.4. Elsewhere, lengthen your auto-lock time while you use the light.
