How to use the fullscreen digital clock
This digital clock runs the moment the page opens: big digits with seconds, the date and your time zone. To fill the screen, press Fullscreen, press F, or double-click the time on a computer; Esc or Exit fullscreen leaves. In fullscreen the buttons and the pointer fade after three seconds and return when you move the mouse or tap. Safari on iPhone can’t go truly fullscreen, so the clock fills the window; Share → Add to Home Screen gives it the whole screen, and there it stays on from iOS 18.4.
12 or 24 hours, seconds and date
The clock starts in the format your computer uses: 3:42:07 PM in the US, 15:42:07 in many other countries. Switch 24-hour in Settings; the choice carries over to the flip, aesthetic and alarm clocks on this site. It’s a digital clock with seconds by default, and Show seconds turns them off. Date offers Full (Monday, November 2, 2026), Short (Mon, Nov 2) or Off.
Show the time in another time zone
Open Time zone or press Z, then type a city, region or offset: kolkata or +5:30. Each entry shows its offset and current time, such as UTC+05:30 · Asia/Kolkata · 16:12. Pick one and a caption appears under the clock: Time in Kolkata (UTC+05:30). Daylight saving comes from the zone rules in your browser, and quarter-hour zones like Kathmandu work too. Your five most recent zones stay on top; Local follows your computer when you travel.
Night mode and burn-in protection for TVs
Night mode starts on Auto, from 22:00 to 07:00: the face turns black with amber digits and the date disappears, so a bedside or living-room screen stays dim. Change the hours under From and To, or choose Always. The page around the clock stays bright, so go fullscreen at night. There the clock also moves up to 8 pixels once a minute (Shift to protect screens), a small help for OLED TVs; for days on end, your device’s own screensaver or sleep timer is safer.
Keep a clock in a browser tab
When you switch to another tab, this tab’s title shows the time, like 10:42 · Clock or 18:42 Tokyo · Clock, so a pinned tab works as a clock tab; background tabs can lag up to a minute. To count down instead, use the online countdown timer; to time something, the online stopwatch; for an event weeks away, the countdown to a date.
Digital or analog clock?
Choose Digital or Analog in the clock, or press A. The analog face has hour marks, numerals and a Second hand that can Sweep, Tick or be Off; with reduced motion on in your system, it ticks. For split-flap cards, open the flip clock; for calm themes and your own line of text, the aesthetic clock.
A digital wall clock for a desk, TV or stage
A spare monitor, an old laptop or a tablet makes a good digital wall clock for an office, kitchen or gym, and on a stage or projector the digits stay readable from the back row. Streamers can choose Share → Copy OBS link and add it as a browser source: only the time, and the date if it’s on, shows on a transparent background. When the clock has to ring, use the online alarm clock.

How this online clock gets its time
This online clock reads your device’s clock at every whole second and shows it in the zone you chose, so it neither drifts nor skips a second. It doesn’t ask a time server: if your computer is a minute off, so is the clock. To fix that, turn on Set time automatically under Settings › Time & language › Date & time on Windows (Microsoft’s guide), or Set time and date automatically under System Settings › General › Date & Time on a Mac (Apple’s guide). Once loaded, the clock works offline, and nothing you choose is sent anywhere.

FAQ
How do I make the clock full screen?
Press Fullscreen, press F or double-click the time. The digits fill the screen and the buttons fade until you move the mouse or tap. Press Esc to leave. On an iPhone the clock fills the browser window instead; add the page to your Home Screen for true fullscreen.
How do I stop my screen from turning off?
Go fullscreen. In current browsers the page then asks your device to keep the screen on, and Settings tells you whether that worked. If your browser can't do it, change your computer's display sleep setting, or keep a laptop plugged in so power saving doesn't dim it.
Can I show the time in another time zone?
Yes. Open Time zone, type a city or an offset such as +5:30 and pick it from the list. The clock shows that zone's time with a caption like Time in Kolkata (UTC+05:30), and daylight saving changes happen by themselves. Pick Local to return to your computer's time.
Is this online clock accurate?
It's exactly as accurate as your device's clock. The page reads that clock at every whole second, so it never drifts, but it doesn't check an internet time server. If your computer is off by a minute, turn on automatic time in your system settings and the clock follows on the next second.
Why is this clock different from my phone?
Usually your computer's clock is slightly off, it's set to another time zone, or someone set the time by hand. Phones get the time from the network all the time; computers sometimes stop syncing. Turn on automatic time and automatic time zone on the computer, then look again.
How do I change the clock settings on my computer?
On Windows, open Settings › Time & language › Date & time and turn on Set time automatically and Set time zone automatically. On a Mac, open System Settings › General › Date & Time and turn on Set time and date automatically. This page shows the corrected time right away.
Can I use it as a screensaver on a TV or monitor?
Yes, with limits. Open it in fullscreen on the TV's browser or a connected computer; the screen stays on and the clock shifts a few pixels each minute. It can't start by itself after idle time like a real screensaver, and for days on end your device's own screensaver is gentler on the panel.
Does the clock change automatically for daylight saving time?
Yes. The clock uses the time zone rules built into your browser, so it jumps forward or back on the right night in every zone, including any zone you picked. The caption under a picked zone shows the new offset too, such as UTC−04:00 instead of UTC−05:00.
